Free-Range Cavaliers
Country Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are home grown and raised on our farm in Cadoux WA, free to roam around our property and welcomed into our family home.
It is our mission to produce well-adjusted, healthy, and happy puppies for adoption into loving families. We take a holistic approach to the health and well-being of our dogs, which includes food-based plans for top nutrition, and stringent health and DNA testing to ensure top lines are maintained.
Our Cavaliers spend the first few weeks in our home, and are well travelled, handled, and socialised from a young age. By the time they join their new families they are on well on their way to being house-trained and accustomed to the affection every pup deserves.
Loyal Companions
Every Country Cavalier has its own unique temperament but are all known for their soft loving nature. Being highly intuitive and loyal makes them ideal for a wide range of families including singles, couples, and those with children. They are just as happy to go for a run down the beach, as they are snuggling on the couch.
As quiet and gentle dogs, Cavaliers are well suited to retirees and are increasingly recommended by the medical fraternity for children with ADHD, due to their soothing nature. They are just as at home on properties with wide-open spaces as they are in apartments. While they do shed some hair, they have minimal grooming requirements and travel well in the car, often snoozing for the entire trip.
About Country Cavaliers
Country Cavaliers is nestled in the beautiful countryside of Cadoux WA, where dogs are given the freedom to roam and grow.
Founder Jan fell in love with the Cavaliers over 40 years ago, growing up with dogs in the family home, and her passion continued to grow throughout her life. She became a registered breeder over 10 years’ ago, after purchasing her first pure pup in 2010.
The Adoption Process
To ensure our puppies are nurtured in a loving environment and families are matched to their ideal companion, we have a simple adoption process in place. We like to meet prospective owners in person by appointment but are always available to answer any enquiries about upcoming litters or suitability.
Step 1
You submit an adoption form explaining why a Country Cavalier would be a good fit your family.
Step 2
We will schedule a call to discuss the perfect companion to suit your needs.
Step 3
You will meet the breeder Jan and the litter.
Step 4
At six weeks old, negotiations are complete, full payment is made and your puppy is microchipped, wormed vet checked and vaccinated in preparation for delivery.
Step 5
Generally at 8 weeks old your new fur family member is ready to join your new forever home. Accompanied with a puppy pack, microchipped, vet checked, worming and vax record. Limited register papers are finalised at time of pick up.

Our Cavaliers are very trainable, gentle on the lead and rarely bark or cause a fuss. They give retirees purpose, a reason to get moving, security and companionship, and because they are small, quiet, and not overly active, they are well suited to units and apartments.
